ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany woman pleaded guilty to money laundering conspiracy and making false statements to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) on Thursday. Kristle "Demii" Walker, 39, faces up to 25 years in prison and a fine of up to $750,000 total if convicted. The Department of Justice (DOJ) says in pleading guilty, Walker admitted to conspiring with several others to launder money from marijuana sales in the Captial Region and other places across the country between at least 2019 and 2022. The DOJ says Walker laundered money through several means, including sending over $10,000 in money transfers purchased using drug money from the Capital Region to Fresno and Clovis, California. ST. LOUIS - The NHL Department of Player Safety has planned a hearing over Jordan Binnington's actions Wednesday in the St. Louis Blues' loss to the Minnesota Wild. Binnington was ejected from Wednesday's game after allowing a go-ahead goal to Minnesota's Ryan Hartman. OVERLAND, Mo. - One officer has been awarded for his swift decision-making to help save a man's life last month. Tony Smythe, an officer with the O'Fallon Police Department, helped on a 72-year-old man in dire need on Feb. 10. He administered one shock and performed chest compressions until paramedics arrived. LINCOLN COUNTY, Mo. -- A head-on collision killed an O'Fallon, Missouri man Wednesday afternoon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol has identified the victim as 75-year-old Terrence Allen.A 2014 Volkswagen Passat driven by a 25-year-old man was traveling westbound on Route C west of Route OO in Lincoln County at around 3:45pm. The driver overcorrected after veering off the right side of the road. The car traveled across the center of the road and struck a 2012 Toyota Camry driven by Allen. Top story: Gardner calls action against her ‘power grab,’ blames subordinates Allen was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared deceased.
