Hours before the Yankees’ series opener against the Blue Jays, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. held court with the press and shared that, as a little kid who grew up in the majors, he dreamed of playing at Yankee Stadium.“It’s a stadium where you want to perform,” Toronto’s designated hitter said Friday, though he doesn’t want to play for the Yankees. “You want to hit.”Guerrero, who entered the contest with 10 home runs and 17 RBI over 31 games at the stadium, has certainly hit in the Bronx. Friday was no different. The 2021 MVP runner-up launched his fourth longball of the year in the first inning, a two-run shot off Domingo German. The Blue Jays never looked back after that; they beat the Bombers, 6-1.The Yankees cut the deficit to one in the second inning when Oswaldo Cabrera took Toronto starter Yusei Kikuchi deep to right field. The dinger was the switch-hitting Cabrera’s first of the season, and his first-ever off a lefty.Kikuchi didn...Celtics can’t cool down Hawks’ shot-making, fall in Game 3

ATLANTA — The Celtics knew they were going to get the Hawks’ best shot on Friday. After two convincing victories in Boston, it was expected. The young and hungry Hawks were desperate, ready to prove themselves, and had a home crowd waiting for them to show it.The Celtics have thrived in these situations for most of the season, with a target on their back after winning the Eastern Conference last season. But Friday night offered a humbling reminder for these Celtics that the road back to that stage is difficult to reach. It was almost inevitable, after the Hawks’ two lackluster offensive performances in Boston, that they would heat up in their return to State Farm Arena. They did, and there was almost nothing the Celtics could do about it. Crushed under a barrage of shot-making, the Celtics fell to the Hawks with a 130-122 loss in Game 3 of this best-of-seven first-round series. The Celtics – fueled by 15 3-pointers in the first half – just couldn’t keep up with the Hawks, who went 67....Second trailer for 'Fast X' reveals even more cars
